So, this could very well be nothing, but….

Every episode Clara has been in, we’ve seen roses, or at least some reference to them. And of course, we’ve had a companion named Rose.

The comment about “The girl in the shop” caught my attention right away, and that was all I could think of (Original gifs found here).

Then there’s the similarity of dialogue, which I noticed thanks to this post.

Now, remember this episode?

Okay, that one’s a bit out there, I’ll admit. But just go with it.

But what else happened yesterday besides the new episode? 

Look who’s coming back.

Now, I’m not saying anything on whether or not I think there is a real connection here, or what it might be if there is one. But looking at all of this, I’m wondering if it’s all a happy coincidence, or if Moffat has something up his sleeve.
